Situated in Antwerp, 400 metres from De Keyserlei, Citybox Antwerp features a spacious green back yard. The property is close to Astrid Square Antwerp, Meir and Antwerp Zoo. This one blew our hats off. It was a bit of walk from the metro but well worth it. It's a hostel but sooo much better. Our room was located on the ground floor but has a view of the garden. Very large, lots of spaces, we actually had room to open our suitcases! Room was nicely decorated, bed was comfortable, no TV but that's fine. A lot of electrical sockets that we were able to charge all our devices simultaneously. They also have a laundromat on second floor, 1.5Euro for drying and 4Euros to wash a load. Kitchen facilities are available on the ground floor, where guests can eat, reheat food and use the fridge. There's a vending machine for drinks. You can also watch tv and play pingpong. Lots of seating areas. You can also leave your luggage on their storage area. Very safe as it requires an access card anywhere else past the reception desk.

This boutique hotel is located in the heart of Antwerp, just 400 meters from the main shopping street Meir, Groenplaats and the Cathedral. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant. Nothing to add :-): my stay in hotel was perfect. the room is absolutely clean and cleaned; the room was quiet, well equipped with everything I could need (the refrigerator, the coffee machine, the safe deposit). I had no any problems in the room. The Wifi connection requesting no any password was excellent. The breakfast was elegant; it is not cheap but it was worth, also considering that in morning there are no so many options around to eat, and there is a value in sitting at the desk in a nice atmosphere in the hotel, having breakfast. The location is superb: around 1 km from Antwerp Centraal, 500 meters from Grotte Markt, 500 meters from University buildings, 600 meters from Rubenshuis, and the same distance from the river, and a supermarket not far, at all. There is no need in car or tram. Just watch wit attention since the stones on the streets are broken. And, quite close, there is a nice small cheese shop but do not ask for cheese from Holland, you will not get it :-), but plenty of nice Belgian cheese and a bit of cheese from UK. In short, I liked it. What is most important? The staff. Very friendly. That is the first time in my "hotel" life when being at home (in Israel) I got a call (not only email) from the hotel. I was informed in advance about a shift" day in Antwerp when entrance of cars in the city center was prohibited. Another call I got during my stay where the staff was just checking if I am Ok and no any problems of need. Certainly, it was worth money (and I was looking a relatively cheaper hotel), and it is the option to consider foremost when returning to Antwerp
