Nestled within Taronga Zoo and overlooking Sydney Harbour, Wildlife Retreat at Taronga is an eco-retreat offering stylish accommodation in a relaxed bush setting. Our stay was well beyond my expectations. Initially I was a little worried, as it was a little outside of my price range. I liked the idea that it was nonprofit and sustainable and I thought the proximity of the animals would be fun for my daughter. The staff was amazing...extremely helpful and kind and always went the extra mile to help us to feel welcome. This never happens, but the view was even better than what's listed on the site. We had a room facing the opera house and it was stunning...we also had an adorable koala outside our room constantly. Just like in the picture. Really. There were several extras that I hadn't anticipated...a morning and evening zoo walk and a tour of a little area made available only to guests. The staff was extremely knowledgeable and you could tell the zoo was working more as an animal sanctuary. I would 1000% recommend this to anyone. It's also extremely accessible, so my daughter and I were able to use it as a home base for exploring other parts of the city. We often came back with tons of sand between our toes and still had time to enjoy the view and the animals.

Boasting river views, Mosman Views, 2bed, Parking, 15min Walk to Beach features accommodation with a terrace and a patio, around 1.3 km from Chinaman's Beach. beautiful view and wonderfully sunny apartment, very clean, everything was fresh and new. the apartment was in a great location five minutes drive to Taronga zoo and Mosman ferry (for a short and beautiful ferry ride to circular key). a stunning (very steep downhill) walk to the lovely balmoral beach and its cafes. apartment is on third floor and no lift. off street carpark completed the excellent stay with my two kids.

NY Special Granny Flat in Mosman is set in the Mosman district of Sydney, 1 km from Chinaman's Beach, 2 km from Balmoral Beach and 4.1 km from Taronga Zoo. While it was a bit difficult to find the hosts communication and help was amazing. Serena was extremely accommodating when we were later than expected to check in. Highly recommended.
