The location couldn’t be more central for what i wanted - a walk through the park to Gertrude Street, the Carlton restaurants and if you want to go to the city it is walking distance too. Loved it!

The property was located very well - close to the cafe strip in Carlton and also close to the trams. The air conditioning worked well and the unit is very well equipped with a good oven, cooktop, dishwasher, washing machine and dryer plus a coffee maker. The beds are very comfortable and the bathrooms are good. Highly recommended and would stay there again!

Featuring air-conditioned accommodation with a private balcony and a flat-screen TV, Carlton Lygon Lodge - Close to Melbourne Uni is just 1 km from Melbourne Central Station. I liked the location of the hotel. It was indeed walking distance to the university and the city centre. It was good value for money and was very spacious, with a proper kitchen in the room. They also allowed for late check out!

Great location in area of Italian restaurants and bars, near to the University, easy access to trams into city centre. Great staff in the office. Well equipped, but would have liked a small sharp knife for preparing food.
