The Australian Open grounds were within 8 minutes walk from the hotel, so it was easy to go back and forth. The Melbourne Cricket Ground is even closer for cricket fans and tourists.

A recently renovated property, Stylish Comfort on the Park is located in Melbourne near Princess Theatre, Melbourne Museum and Melbourne Cricket Ground. Everything you could think of was there. Perhaps a box of tissue but that was nothing really. Even a pair of scissors. Nice linen and very comfy beds in both rooms. Heaps of room in the bedrooms.
