As we had my elderly mother with us the flat spacious layout and easy access to the bathroom facilities was important to us. She got the main bedroom with the ensuit.

The fishing rod was a big win for poppy and the grandkids who got such excitement when "fishies" were caught in the river out the back! Also great fun for the kids seeing the stingray and black swan.

Freshwater Point Resort is located on the river bank, just 500 metres from the beach. family friendly and quiet on the Gold Coast but of the main drag!
