Shopping no problem, also many restaurants everywhere. (note, that it is hard to get cash from ATMs in Argentina, so be prepared). In short, I really loved my stay there.

Only negative that when we checked out next day we noticed we left 100 dollars in the room that we had exchanged the day before. And it was certain where we put the money. But when we called the property owners they said after 2 hours wait that they only found 80 dollars. So it was positive to not loose all the money, and the room was lovely and good location but I recommend not to leave any of your stuff in the apartment when you check out as some people in Buenos Aires are abit shady and it is not 100% sure if you get your stuff back.
