Hotel Maharajah is situated on the island of Mayotte in the capital city of Mamoudzou. The hotel offers free WiFi and features a bar, terrace and shared guest lounge area. Room was very clean and comfortable. Staff very helpful. Closeness to the barge for airport is great if you don't have too many bags. Area is great with some lovely streets with nice shops to wander in and out of. Would definitely use it again.

Excellent sized bed, comfortable and perfectly balanced between firmness and softness. Nice red ambiance light above the bed, although it cannot be used without the 2 low-power spots to create a perfect intimate mood, it’s almost a 10/10. Very nice room size, fridge with some different beer types included, Pringles, Moroccan Tea and Snickers. Apparently well noise-insulated, didn’t hear nothing from the outside and nobody complained about my own noise. The bathroom is beautiful and sized as needed. The host guy is really kind and even got me some extra beers pretty late in the night.
