Situated in Simpson Bay, 50 metres from Kim Sha Beach, Commodore Suites features accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a fitness centre and a garden. Service was exceptional. As a female solo traveller I would say Sint Maarten is the place to go and Commodore Suites is the place to stay. Farida and the rest of the crew there were amazing. Best advice and so close to the beach ⛱️. Karaoke on Tuesday and Thursday at the Hilton nearby. On the main street for all types of food and experiences. To say I am coming back doesn't even say it all. The experience almost makes you want to get a remote job and live there. Free drinks mixed by Farida.....new mixes and real fun. TV had all the apps you needed on vacation for viewing fun. Comfy bed, great shower and the ability to wash and dry my clothes before coming back home was priceless. Missing something? There is a grocery with EVERYTHING right downstairs. Want a great view in a hot tub? Go upstairs. Want to eat out? Take a 2-5 minute walk. There is also delivery. My introduction to the country could not have been better.

Very nice Hotel with very friendly hotel staff, always ready to help. Rooms are clean and cozy. Loved it! The breakfast is great as well: You get a voucher and can go downstairs to the bakery for a hot drink, a cold drink, pastry of your choice and a sandwich custom made to your choice. I always took half of my breakfast to the beach as a snack. I had a very nice time here, would book it again! To get around it's best to take the bus from the main road. That works without problems and it is just a 10 min walk to the bus stop.

Baker's Suites is located in Simpson Bay, steps from the beach, and 5 minutes’ drive from Princess Juliana International Airport. Free WiFi access is available. I loved everything.. the staff were amazing and Latoya THE BEST. What a wonderful service-minded person.

Belair is a smaller resort that is quiet and all the staff are friendly and very helpful. The beach is beautiful and you pick your own beach chairs and they are reserved for you for your entire stay so you don't have to worry about finding chairs each day. You could not pick a better resort on the whole island!
