Really sad to see that the property is nearly abandoned and maintenance has stopped, maybe due to lack of affordable guests visiting Udawalawa. We got our rooms for unbelievably low prices that give extreme value for what you pay. Even though that property is nearly abandoned, they have not limited anything for guests. Clean pool, pool towels, super comforty chalets, clean amenities, 24 hours room service and even a nice small buffet is also there. From frontdesk to the ground level, a very limited number of staff is available, but they are polite, helpful, pleasant and work hard to make the stay comfortable. Most of the luxury wooden designs and pathways leading from restaurant to river, are decayed and closed, they seem to be not maintained anymore. If you are visiting this resort for this super cheap price tag posted currently, please do not expect the above mentioned eye catching things and post unreasonable reviews. Again I am saying is the value for what you pay is extremely high here. Thank you Kottawatta River Bank Resort.
