Situated in West End, within a few steps of West End Beach and 5.8 km of Parque Gumbalimba, Mr. Amazing location, amenities and staff! Right on Half-Moon bay and 20 feet from the beach, Mr. Tucan is a gem. My parents and I went to Roatan to celebrate American Thanksgiving and it exceeded our expectations. Ms. Rose and the rest of the staff at the hotel and attached restaurant were wonderful and meet all of our requests. The hotel itself is beautiful, secure, and safe. It's quiet but an extremely short stroll to shops, food, and the nightlife. Avoid the cruise ship crowds and relax in paradise!

The hotel is very clean and open. Location is great as very close to the supermarket and a 30 minute walk from the bus station, but uber is only 55 limperia ($2.25). The shower was so good, and the room is large. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Everyone was very friendly, enquiring about our stay and whether we were happy with everything (including activities outside the hotel). The rooms and the rest of the facilities were kept spotless. We saw a number of improvements (refreshed rooms, an additional pool, and a new building which is yet to be finished). The hotel has managed to keep up with the homely vibe. The internet was very good (managed to work without IT-related interruptions). The food was of very good quality.

The outdoor pool area was wonderful, and I didn’t realize AC is hard to come by in Honduras but the AC in the room was WONDERFUL! The property is beautiful, and Wendy was so helpful. I felt like I was staying at a friends very nice house.
