Both a bicycle rental service and a car rental service are available at Nomads Den Private Villa with Heated Pool on Hoedspruit Wildlife Estate Riverbed, while cycling and fishing can be enjoyed nearby. Loved everything about Nomad's Den! It was perfect for two friends, two couples, or a family of 4-5. I went with a friend who was visiting from Kenya, and we both have demanding jobs. It was wonderful to have a couple of quiet, peaceful days, wake up to some animals, have space to catch up, and Pim was a fabulous host. We hired the personal chef (Chris) for one night and he made us a meal you'd get at a fine dining restaurant...beautiful and professional, and he cleaned up thoroughly afterwards. Pim also lined up a exceptional masseuse...again professional and the ultimate in luxury. If you are coming with kids, the design and layout are optimal...heated pool, open floor plan that allows you to see everyone, and a pak n play to sleep in (for little ones). Each bedroom had its own bathroom for privacy. Black-out curtains + beds and linens were so comfortable...the only thing that got us out of bed was a need for food (on day 1) and monkeys (on day 2). Each room can be temperature controlled, sliding doors can be opened, with screened doors and windows to keep the bugs out.

There are so many personal touches, and a lot of care has been taken to make it comfortable as well as practical. The unit is spacious and has all you need. Close to all the shopping centers, but just far enough away so that it's very quiet and peaceful and you wake up in the morning to the gentle sounds of many beautiful birds. I can Definitely recommend Birds Babble.
Peaceful & quiet environment with wildlife all around. Zelda was very friendly and even accommodated me with an early check-in, which was much appreciated. Good for a rest from the busy city.
The area is located outside the city noise. It's very quiet and peaceful. The unit we booked was a semi-self catering and had no stove. We used microwave to make breakfast, however breakfast and supper is available at the property(extra cost). Friendly host and staff. It's also close to other activities like quad biking, archery, paintball etc and Hazyview Junction (less than 9km) which has checkers, clothing stores and restaurants for those who wanna dine out
If you are looking for a quiet peaceful place which is home from home, and then some, the Flight Of The Eagle is the place. The house has everything and can be off grid if there are power or water issues. Spacious and very comfortable. We had a fantastic break. Thank You to Johan and Elize for all your help. Easy to exit and enter Marloth when doing day trips into the Kruger and the number of animals that visit when spending down time at the house is absolutely amazing.
Beautiful peaceful and an amazing getaway. The rooms are amazing, and views from the rooms are even better. we had a luxury tent and it was modern, had aircon and a patio to sit outside and enjoy the animals and peace and quiet. Woke up to Giraffes on the way to breakfast and had a number of kudu,impala & Nyala outside our tent. Food was amazing, and staff were accommodating and courteous. Wonderful experience.
Had an incredible stay at Abangane Guest Lodge in August. I went on safari and it’s a perfect location for entry to Phabeni gate. The property itself is stunning, the views are incredible and it was very peaceful and quiet. The rooms were exceptionally clean, and the attention to detail was next to none! I would definitely recommend to stay here if you’re after some peaceful luxury!!
I have stayed here twice. First time in the 2 bedroom chalet which was lovely. Second time I stayed in the luxury tents with outside bathroom & kitchen which was nice but not as nice as the chalet. Both had jacuzzis. The manager on duty was helpful. The resort itself is quiet and has lovely trees/plants which makes for nice peaceful views. The place is clean and the jacuzzi and braai area get cleaned daily as well.
The location is superb! Quiet and peaceful with very little traffic passing! Only 200m to the river. The visitation from the kudu herds were amazing! We also had bushbaby, mongoose, warthog, bushbuck and blue wildebeest around the property. True bush experience in a luxurious well thought out home with all the amenities! Highly recommended. Will certainly go back.
