Vĩnh Long
At the country house, all units are fitted with a wardrobe. There is a private bathroom with bidet in every unit, along with slippers, a hair dryer and free toiletries. The units will provide guests with a desk and a kettle. Family-run homestay with friendly/helpful staffs. Clean/spacious room with a little refrigerator and a lot of hot water. The room was also equipped with AC. Ideal location - just next to the river. Meals were served with a wonderful river view. Particularly, dinner with sunset over the river was unforgettable. During my 3-night stay, I had 3 dinners (200,000 dong for each). They prepared different dishes every time. All of them were so tasty - highly recommended. I joined their boat tour (350,000 dong) - visiting a brick factory, a coconut candy factory, and 2 more places. It was an interesting tour. Since free bicycles were available, I used one of them and explored the island and Vinh Long by myself. On the last day, the host gave me a ride to the ferry terminal.

Hotel is in countryside and has a brand new feeling to it. Rooms spacious and very clean. Homestay hotel has its own kitchen and ohh my how good the food was! So far the best meal Ive had in Vietnam. Fresh local food. Fishfarm nearby. Staff was welcoming and really appreciate the guests. Remember to bring earplugs with you, bcs the roosters start the day early ;) haha
We had such a lovely stay with Oanh and her family. The island is a beautiful and peaceful place to visit, we borrowed the bikes and cycled around. There are lots of little cafes and eateries and Oanh makes a spectacular dinner at night. We took a boat cruise with Oanh's brother and visited a pottery, orchard, candy factory and fish farm. Definitely recommend for a relaxing few days stay.
Really beautiful homestay, every meal was eaten right on the river with incredible sunsets. Very friendly staff, delicious food and basic but practical rooms. Surrounding area was quiet but very interesting and beautiful, felt off the beaten track if that’s what you like. Was nice to explore it on the mopeds. Boat tour was also very interesting, and the pool table was a nice bonus. Very good value for money!

Very nice place, on Mekong river with beautiful sunsets everyday. Nice dinners at the homestay, everything is so fresh cooked and good! The island is quiet and beautiful (you have to take the bikes and discover by yourself).

The room was big and the bed very comfortable. You're in the middle of the nature and this place is very calm and relaxing. However, since it's in the countryside we had rats in our room. There's a pool which is very nice but should be cleaned more often.
Fantastic stay in a luxury hotel. The hotel is exactly as you see in the photos on the website: modern, clean and equipped with all the comforts. Don’t be fooled by the two stars: this hotel is worth at least four. The owner, Dat, is a nice and helpful person, who will make you feel at home and give you great advice on Vietnam and the area of Vĩnh Long. A special thanks to him for making our stay unforgettable!
