Set in Mộc Châu in the Son La region, Hoa Phong homestay Moc Chau offers accommodation with free private parking. The property features mountain views. The country house has family rooms. Hoa Phong homestay is one of the best places to spend a night or two in the beautiful and peaceful village of Ta So. Of course, one shouldn't expect luxury but the facilities are excellent considering that this is a remote village high up in the mountains of north western Vietnam. Apart from the facilities, another thing that impressed me and my wife is the friendliness of the host, A Hang, and his wife, Y Hoa. He spoke good English and was more than ready to help us arrange a taxi to fetch us from town (and back to town) and assisted us to communicate with our transportation provider to Hanoi (note that English is seldom understood in that part of Vietnam). He also took us around his village and gave us a glimpse of the villagers' life. Oh, and not to forget, we enjoyed the delicious dinner and breakfast his family prepared for us. Truly a great place to visit if one is looking for something different from the usual tourist spots in northern Vietnam.
