There was another couple (also guests like me) and our hosts sat with us around the fire, chatting and sipping wine, making even this solo traveler feel cozy and welcome. I slept incredibly well (comfy bed, space heater in addition to a/c/heater unit, super quiet area). In the morning they made my preferred coffee especially for me (I bring my own as this is not a big coffee country), which I so appreciated. I got to see the horses being fed before leaving, which was the highlight of my short but pleasant stay. I needed help making my payment in cash and they were so kind, even providing me with a phone number in case I need anything else while I'm in their beautiful country.
