It somehow feels comfortable and family-friendly (we brought our four children) yet simultaneously elegant (beautiful hardwood floors, great art, and exuding charming cottage chic). Though the LeFay Cottage excels in providing you the sense that you have gotten away from it all, there are a surprising number of great eating and entertainment options within a short drive: not only the famous Inn at Little Washington (just minutes away) but we found other truly great local restaurants, bars, and wineries. We appreciated the quick access to skiing, the Luray Caverns, and the Shenandoah National Park. Would recommend it for a brief getaway, a longer staycation, or as an intimate wedding venue.
