The mansion is well maintained and very clean. It is well preserved in its historic state, very scenic and beautiful grounds. The proprietor is a most gracious host, and very easy to strike up a conversation with. The fact that he discourages families with young children eliminates an opportunity for the serene quit to be disrupted. Above and beyond our expectations.
Looking a bit 'tired' but it was clean, quiet and comfortable. Beds were big and in good condition and AC worked well. The swimming pool was fine, but it needs a good clean Location good for things like stores and eating places and z multi/plex cinema just down the road.
Nice, quiet place in a very convenient location, a 3-minute drive to the I-96 and a 15-minute drive to downtown. There is even a bus. The apartment is not luxurious, but at $250 for three nights it is good value for money. Clearly the host cares about the comments posted here because a dining table and chairs were added, as well as a bedside table in one of the rooms.
Historic mansion with Georgian style furnishings and paintings. Quiet location with a huge backyard and lush garden. Breakfast is very good with particularly crunchy fries.
