They drove us to a supermarket the first evening (didn't want tips), gave us snorkeling equipment and let us use a board for stand-up paddeling. All for free. The room was clean and big. Close to us was a very cute beach bar/ restaurant with live music and fire shows. (But the rooms are quiet. Don't worry. You hear no noise from the bar.)

A 5-minute walk from Choeng Mon Beach, Paradise Island Estate offers well-appointed villas within a walled community. The property features an outdoor pool, a fitness centre, and free Wi-Fi. Fantastic property. It looks great on the pictures so it’s hard to tell if it’s marketing or the real thing. It’s the real thing. Rooms are spacious, private pool for relaxing, enough space for friends, family or business guests. Staff was nothing less that stellar. Air conditioning is available in all the rooms and common spaces which is not always the case in Thailand. 10 of us spent two weeks in Thailand traveling around and this was the last stay before leaving. What a great way to end the trip. Booked the 4 bedroom and 3 bedroom villa for a guys trip. Everyone was able to get their own room which was great after sharing a room for the beginning of the trip. Nisah coordinated a private dinner in house with 10 courses and two chiefs. Hands down the best meal of the entire trip. Getting in and out was a breeze, able to use grab and other taxi services without issue. Property has onsite security making everything feel very safe. And each house is equipped with a safe to lock valuables. Overall I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice retreat away from the chain of hotels. This gives you a private experience that’s still close to everyone you want to do at a price that isn’t restrictive to the masses.
