We were given recommendations for places to visit on almost every leg of the way to our intended destination. Highly recommended, we felt like home. We’ll come back for sure! :)

Excellent suburbs-like location that's close to larger cities, excellent restaurants and pubs etc. The house itself is beautiful all-around, and sits on a huge, well-kept property full of trees that give shade on hot summer days. The place is very lovely, inside and out, beautifully furnished and designed with a charming mix of old and new. The house itself is old and many old features have been retained. Our room was enormous. The beds guarantee a good nights sleep with good quality linens and feather pillows

The kitchen had everything we needed to start cooking and grilling and the hosts were very thoughtful stocking the place with pretty much everything we needed for a comfy stay, even slippers. The kids were busy for hours exploring all the toys. Although it was cold outside it was nice and cosy inside, easy to air out as well and it was nice and sunny during the day.
