Dating back to the 14th century, Ronnum Herrgård is housed in a manor at the southern point of Lake Vänern. It offers free Wi-Fi and rooms with a flat-screen TV. This was the property that we were most looking forward to during our visit to Sweden. We were not disappointed. The room was large and comfortable, with the separate bathroom and an added bonus of a sauna. We loved the vintage feel and the history of the place. Breakfast was an excellent spread, catering for all tastes. Staff were helpful and friendly. Our meal in the restaurant was exceptional. Free parking on site. We spent 3 days exploring the Halle-Hunneberg area. A very special experience.

A good budget alternative. The beds were comfortable. The area was very clean and the service was very good. The WC was in another building so it was chilly at 3am going out. Breakfast was basic with bread, cheese, ham and liver pastaj. Yougart and cereal. Juice, coffee or choclate to drink.

Set in Hamburgsund, Västra Götaland region, Hamburgö is located 2.1 km from Boviken Beach. Everything was perfect. The location is fantastic, in a wild and calm part of the island, with amazing walks and vows. The owners was extremely helpful with all kinds of advice and tips.

Located close to River Örekilsälven, Munkedals Herrgård dates back to the 19th century and features accommodation with classic decór and free WiFi access. Nordens Ark Zoo is 20 km away. Such a lovely place in a gorgeous countryside, with friendly staff, beautiful rooms, and a great atmosphere. Sadly, we just had the one night there, but got to enjoy a breakfast and a wonderful night's sleep. Will surely come back one day.
