Located in Zabala, in a picturesque area 6 km from Covasna, Zabola Estate - Transylvania is a guesthouse set on a 500 hectares private domain, including a meadow and a forest. It features 2 lakes, 4 fishing ponds, hiking and horse riding facilities, as well as a sauna. It was a great weekend with my husband, it’s perfect for a romantic getaway. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the food was delicious, the room was very clean. We enjoyed also a long walk on the estate, we had a ride with the carriage with horses.

A nice, clean and quiet room in a building at the edge of the town. Very helpful and polite host. The room had a balcony, which was very useful. Even if there was no air conditioning, the room was not very warm, in spite of the days (and nights) being very hot. Also within walking distance both from the town's centre and our objective (the nearby Fortyogo baths).

Zabola Estate is a gorgeous property with a lot to offer. My husband and I stayed here for one night only and wished we had stayed longer. We chose the Yellow Room, which had a fireplace and double shower with a view over the pond. It is the perfect little getaway for couples. The grounds are beautiful to walk around - the ponds, stables, castle, and there are hiking routes around the property. A relaxing, magical place to stay.
I loved the whole outdoor atmosphere. It was classy, peaceful, cool spots to chill with a glass of wine, a coffee, or a book. The music was soft and pleasant, well-picked. The rooms were spacious and clean, with vintage pieces of furniture but everything with good taste and attention to the place's history. While the restaurant served excellent cuisine, I found the variety slightly lacking. But for a two-night staying it was alright. The bar was well-stocked, and the coffee was excellent.
Clean, beautiful, comfortable and quiet
The spa was nice and open until 10 pm, which I liked. The room was warm and clean. The balcony was huge and had a wonderful view of the forest. The property was nicely maintained and had enough parking spaces. During the time I was there, it was quiet and uncrowded. There is a landscaped area in a portion of the forest suitable for relaxing walks in nature. Overall, the experience was beautiful.
Everything was awesome. The location was brilliant. Tucked within pine trees, this cottage is quiet and remote and private and cozy and it has everything you might need. There is a creek nearby and a birch forest, as well as several touristic objectives in the vicinity. I will totally come back here again.
The location, although located in a quiet area, is close to the city center (2-3 mins on foot).The accommodation is spotless, furnished with everything you need, warm and cozy. We had very good communication with the landlord and a quick check-in/check-out procedure.Overall, we were very pleased.Thank you!
A quiet and peaceful retreat
Great, quiet, picturesque location. The yard, the mansion and the view are impressive. Friendly and helping staff. Not crowded. Okish breakfast. Very clean.
