Le Quinta do Espírito Santo est un établissement rural s'étendant sur 1,2 hectares sur l'île de Terceira. I spent 20 days in the Azores. but the best came at the end. I was allowed to spend 3 nights at Quinta do Espirito Santa with Lucilia and Francisco Maduro slides. I was allowed to spend my stay in a beautiful outbuilding of the Quinta. The house and the rooms in it are lovingly furnished. You are transported to another distant time. But the two hosts are definitely the highlight. I have never experienced such warm hosts. A hearty breakfast with many local specialties was served in the main building. The two gentlemen had a lot to tell and gave me an old insight into life on the Azorn and Terceira. We especially liked the conversations with Francisco. I was able to take away and learn a lot from his knowledge as a history professor. I highly recommend Quinta do Espirito Santo as a place to stay. The hosts receive 1000 points from me. Rolf Winzeler Switzerland

Un accueil très sympathique. La chambre très propre , avec du linge de toilette ainsi que du lit d’excellente qualité . Nous avions le petit-déjeuner inclue de très bonne qualité avec des produits locaux dans un cadre très agréable. Je recommande fortement cette adresse. Nous avons apprécié le site avec une belle vue mer et des voisins tous aussi accueillants les uns que les autres. Un très bon lit confortable et une cuisine bien complète etaient parfaits pour deux personne. Le parking était très proche de la maison.

Even though the weather wasn't the best, we enjoyed the garden so much! You can sit on the terrace when it rains and feel the nature as the garden continues directly to the forest. The house has all you need to spend time there, there's lots of space and you can make yourself at home. There are lots of places of interest nearby, but I would personally recommend taking a car. We had a perfect stay and enjoyed exploring the area.
