This property has an outdoor pool with waterfront views, a private riverside beach, and there's boating activities for guests with the Bay of Islands on your doorstep. Each room at this property comes fully equipped with a kitchenette, lounge & dining area, flat-screen TV, and guests enjoy 100MB of Wi-Fi each day at no cost. Campground facilities can accommodate motor homes, RV's, and tents. An adventure playground is popular with kids and BBQs are available for guest use as well. There are several restaurants in the area, with Twin Pines Restaurant & Bar, and the Phat House both within easy walking distance. In addition to the scenic Haruru Falls, this property is next to the Waitangi Forest Reserve which offers a popular bush walk. A popular holiday place for families and couples alike. Incredible location and super friendly staff. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. Balcony/Terrace with a really nice view of the waterfall and lake. Kayaks were available free of charge and staff at reception gave wonderful tips for local sightseeing. Showers also had the highest water pressure I had yet to experience - very comfortable!

The farmhouse lives up to its name, it was cosy with a lovely old fireplace but with all modern comforts (wifi etc). Awesome view of farmland and animals, very quiet and peaceful. The hosts are amazing and nothing is too much trouble. We arrived to freshly picked fruit and beautiful flowers - such a thoughtful gesture as we had had a long drive.

Location was superb with native bush, views of cows in the fields and the ocean! It was so quiet and peaceful but just about 8 minutes to Waipu township.

This was ideal for our family group as we had an apartment each. The accommodation was cosy clean and comfortable with everything we needed. Bedrooms roomy. Plenty to do in the day time in the area. Lovely to look out over the water. Peaceful and quiet.

Lots of things to do on property for anyone with children would definitely recommend and will definitely be staying again sometime in the future.
We truly loved everything about Wairimu Lodge. From the beautifully decorated room and luxurious bathroom, to the view, to the thoughtful touches including ample breakfast options (even croissants!). It was so quiet and peaceful, and felt incredibly private despite being attached to Peta & Rich's house. Peta & Rich are incredibly generous hosts, and the welcome book provided gave us so many helpful hints about the property, the local area, and even included up-to-date menus of local eateries.
