Location was good for biking and spar pools. Good size heated swimming pools. Good gym and sauna. Nice and quiet this time of year, so was very peaceful. Good mountain bikes for hire. Got a free room upgrade at check in.
Brilliant location .. comfy, clean modern motel room ..separate quiet bedroom with a very comfortable bed. Stunning views of the mountains and lake, stylish well equipped kitchen and bathroom with all the accessories you need. The luxury of a sparkling clean private hot pool. This motel exceeded our expectations both in quality and price. Such a wonderful affordable stay without any compromise.
Very comfortable accommodation in lovely surroundings. Lots of trees, river walk nearby. Quiet and peaceful. My mother and I were lucky enough to be able to stay in 2 bedroom unit for 1 night.
Private spa with thermal/mineral water was luxury, you fill it yourself so can have the heat you want. (I filled spa a third full in evening for a lovely soak and topped up in morning to heat it up for another soak so not to use too much water) Upstairs room was very private and super quiet and dark for sleeping. Staff were lovely and friendly and helpful. The building is older but quite fine and had everything needed - hairdryer, shampoo and conditioner etc. Super comfy bed and nice bed linens.
Wonderful staff at checkin. The room s were comfortable amd quiet. The outlook over the valley was peaceful amd ot eas a delight to be able to hear thd call of the bellbirds and other natiive birds. Can't wait to be able to stay there again.
The pool, spa, sauna and steam room were fabulous snd the old original building is lovely. The location is a little bit out of town but the view is lovely and it is nice and quiet. The bed was extremely comfortable with luxurious bed linens.
Beautiful location and view over Lake Taupo.Great restaurant and view sitting on the deck for drinks and dinner. Fabulous unit deck and opening for view windows up stairs in main bedroom. Birds beautiful and so quiet and peaceful. Lovely French manager who met us and waiter from Yorkshire.
