Delicious breakfast including homemade yoghurt and marmalade. We were also provided sandwiches and snacks since we were arriving later on Boxing Day -really thoughtful.

The location of the property is great as with easy access to roads and motorway within the Auckland region, but quiet and pretty drive up to property and then afforded beautiful vistas all round of Okura River and reserve from a huge well maintained and stocked garden. Even had use of canoes onto the river from the bottom of the garden. The house itself felt like home from home, with all the comforts and amenities required. Great bathroom areas and extremely comfortable bed. Deb & Don are lovely hosts and attentive to meet your needs.
