The family is the best group of hosts we could ask for. Always super friendly and accommodating. The food is amazing - must order. And the boat ride with Sasha was the highlight of our stay. Highly recommend for any stay.

The perfect stay in the Rijeka Crnojevića and Lake Skadar area. The property is in a beautiful and quiet position. The room comfortable and the food fresh and genuine. The owners are welcoming. Recommended.

Markovic Winery and Estate apartments er staðsett í Cetinje, 27 km frá Lovcen-þjóðgarðinum og býður upp á gistingu með garði, ókeypis einkabílastæði, verönd og veitingastað. Just an incredible stay. We weren't really sure what to expect, I don't think the pictures on here do justice to the beauty of this place. Arriving after a hot day travelling and hiking, we were greeted my Adrian who showed us to our room. Really pretty with nice old furniture and a stunning view over the vineyards. A lot of the reviews on here say there is no restaurant, which is sort of true but you can book in for dinner (which is excellent). Otherwise the hotel was happy to let us layout our own bread/cheese etc in the dining room. You are free to walk round the vineyards whenever, and definitely take up the wine tour - do all 6 wines. The location is a great base for Lovcen and Shkodra lake - just be warned the roads in the area are a bit precarious. Thanks so much to Adrian and the Markovics.

Aleksa er staðsett í Cetinje og býður upp á gistirými með loftkælingu og verönd. Gististaðurinn er með aðgang að svölum, ókeypis einkabílastæði og ókeypis WiFi. This place ticks all the boxes. The room (spacious, great couch and bed, quiet) is part of a house on the countryside, but still close to the cities Cetinje and even Podgorica. Plenty of privacy if you like, but you can also join the family for a drink and have a nice chat (in English or Montenegrin). It's possible to taste and buy homemade wine from the family's small vineyard, which by the way is delicious. The family is exceptionally helpful and interested. Breakfast is available on request, and concerning lunch/dinner/suggestions for the region I assume they can arrange whatever you like, if only you ask. Recommended!
