Located within 3.4 km of Lake Skadar and 28 km of Port of Bar, Studio and winery Kalimut offers rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Virpazar. Very quiet location, perfect for relaxing on a warm summer day. We did not interact with Marko as he was out of town but his parents and grandparents took excellent care of us, including very generous and delicious home-cooked meals for both breakfast and dinner. Unfortunately our visit was far too short but this studio is a great choice for a long weekend or even a week spent relaxing and exploring the beautiful Skadar lake.

Marko has a lovely garden oasis property with comfortable accommodations and amazing views of the mountains. We enjoyed hearing about his projects, including winemaking! We also enjoyed a home made breakfast for E 5 per person. The property is located a little outside of the central area of Virpazar and a short drive away from a beautiful “hidden beach” on the lake. Marko is very attentive and gave us all his tips for the area, even helping us download and sharing locations with us on a Montenegro map app. We also loved the free bike access.

It’s a warm, nostalgic feeling—being safe, comfortable, well-fed, and free from any worries in the world. I found all of this again with Tanja! She was so nice and welcoming! With great wine, fresh fruits, engaging conversations, and thoughtful advice, my wife and I felt completely relaxed. I definitely recommend staying here to anyone who wants to escape the busy life and revisit the simplicity of childhood. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

It was the best place we stayed in Montenegro. The house is beautiful, spacious, comfortable and just had everything to make us feel very home. The host is also very nice and helpful and made us felt so comfortable staying there. The view is amazing, you have a clear view on the mountains and lake. We enjoyed very much preparing meals in the kitchen with that view. They even let us go in their garden and pick up any vegetables and fruits they have there. Its a short drive to virpazar, located in a small cute village.
