Our journey through the desert is an adventure that we never forget. Atmane welcomes us in Foum Zguid from where we enter into the desert. The ride to the Auberge is very beautiful, we make several stops at an oasis, a house of a nomad woman and the Iriki lake which has been filled with water again after years of drought, unbelievable that nature can fill such a large lake in such a short time, very impressive. The auberge offers a fantastic view, good food a very nice atmosphere, in the evening music is made around the campfire, very relaxed and chill. The next day we visit a Tuareg village we see how the families live here and how they provide the village with water from the oasis. We travel further through the varied landscape see dromedaries, and different animals, arrive at a hospitable nomad family for lunch and a nice siesta, what a meeting! A little further on we visit a nomad school, where the children receive lessons in a tent. In the afternoon we arrive at the large sand dunes, particularly beautiful, what a different world when you are standing between the dunes, so phenomenal! The next day we drive back, relaxed by another beautiful route, Atmane stops at various places to show us fossils and tells us about the nature and life in the desert. We looking forward to a next trip where we travel through the desert with dromedaries for a few days.
