My 3 night stay was perfect. Really lovely room balcony and bathroom. I loved the peaceful garden and hotel out the way of the busy road. The hosts were wo derful very helpful and friendly. Situated in Habaraduwa, 2.6 km from Koggala Beach, Sri Mathie Historic Estate features accommodation with an infinity pool, free private parking, free bikes and a garden. The property has pool and garden views, and is 15 km from Galle International Cricket Stadium. Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a sun terrace. We had an excellent stay in a very authentic and cozy home for the last part of our holidays in Sri Lanka. Guy and Mary were very welcoming hosts and served us delicious breakfast with homemade curd, granola and bread. Home made dinner was also available but we unfortunately could not join due to our schedule. The pool is beautifully located in the middle of the forest and was the best pool we had during our trip. The house is located in a very quiet and serene place but with a scooter/tuk tuk, everything can be reached quickly. Overall, we had a great stay at Sri Mathie and would definitely recommend to anyone!

Surrounded by jungle and monkeys. Room was very comfortable with a nice breakfast. Awesome host who helped organise a scooter for us.

Sorry for this much attention to the food, but this is the first time when I eat breakfast and stay full all day🤍 - the view on the ocean -the location (close to the beach where you can swim) - once again, the family who accepted us was just as they were my family. They helped us with everything, accepted us earlier, helped us with the transport
