Eunice was very helpful and accommodating. The space is beautiful and quiet. You get to relax during the stay. The house is fully stocked. It’s clean and very accessible.
Super friendly staff, delicious food, comfortable tents, and the lodge is located in a beautiful quiet area. About 2-2,5 hours drive from Nairobi which makes it perfect for a weekend escape to nature and wildlife.
Brilliant location right under Kili. Loved the tent - super luxury
Had a most lovely, simple, comfortable overnight homestay with a lovely local family. David and his parents, Peter and Agnes welcomed us warmly. A stunning farm garden that Peter is most proud to show you. Great Kilimanjaro views! We're coming back to work with Agnes' women's group and do some hiking with David in the lovely nearby hills and gorges. Highly recommend this homestay to those who like to mix it up with their accommodations and inclined to adventure.
Views of Kilimanjaro are stunning and the peace and quiet most welcome. Staff are friendly and the evening BBQ and bonfire great.
Loved the remote location. Very peaceful but easy to get into Kimana town on a cheap boda boda if you wanted a change of scenery . Easily accessible on public transport
This is a serene, quiet and peaceful spot to chill and relax. The travel to the location is what makes it even more worthwhile (use an SUV for comfort). The service was professional and the dinner/lunch menu were well prepared and well portioned. I loved the expereience
