Everything is so luxurious but feels so good and warm. People are so nice and warm welcome. Dinner and breakfast are sophisticated and delicious. The food was nice and fresh. There was a private room for both meals. Breakfast with a mountain view was spectacular.

The compound was so beautiful and the Onsen was sign up and private outside Onsen. Didn't have time to go but their family has a big Onsen facility and they gave us free ticket. Location is excellent in a beautiful area 15min. from Kurokawa Onsen. And the price was very reasonable. The fact that the bathroom are shared because of homy and welcoming atmosphere. Feel like visiting a very nice friend's country house.

Great for a cool trip away from the heat of the cities, close to hiking and other outdoor activities. Rooms are massive, clean with good facilities. Free indoor outdoor and private onsens available. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. There is a small convenience shop and BBQ restaurant on site .

Resort style, boutique hotel. Quiet, peaceful hillside location. Car is needed though.

Lovely, traditional style rooms in the quiet mountains surrounding Yufuin. The onsen facilities are great (don't miss the outdoor bathhouse!). We had a lovely and tranquil stay here - hidden away from the bustling cities and enjoyed hiking in the area as well.

The room is fabulous! Very large, comfort, very quiet and peaceful. The view is very nice and the meals also delicious. Very enjoyable!

We really enjoyed our stay at Nagomitsuki. The hotel was calm and peaceful, the staff were very attentive and friendly. The went above and beyond during our check-in to make us feel welcome. The facilities were excellent with iced tea available and fresh coffee. Also the skin care products available were really good quality and I enjoyed using them. Having a private Onsen in our room felt like a real luxury. I would also highly recommend staying for the dinner which was excellent- the food presentation was stunning.

Genuine family run ryokan. Wonderful hosts. 2 outside and 2 inside onsen, all private. Great dinner served in your room with breakfast in the dining room. Shuttle to local train station available. Cater for foreign visitors with larger size footwear, extra layer of mattresses on tatami floors, explanation of how to use the facilities of the ryokan via video with English subtitles on TV info channel in your room. Set in a quiet village, great place to chill in the countryside. Communicate well in basic English. All set in a delightful building.
