Search country houses in Hiroshima

When we arrived there were deers chilling right in front of the ryokan... It's a bit isolated from the city, which makes it a quiet spot, easy to go hiking from. The public bath has a big window, I went there late at night, I was the only one, with the lights illuminating the trees it was a really peaceful experience. Great traditional japanese breakfast, very copious. There is a small souvenir shop in the lobby. You can really get the ryokan experience here. And for a ryokan in Miyajima it's not that expensive!

Absolutely wonderful host - he was so friendly and helpful. Our son adored him! He provided great recommendations for lunch and dinner. The guesthouse is a beautiful, traditional house. Lovely and cool in the heat. Location was amazing - really close to the main shopping street and shrines, minutes from the ferry, but very quiet and peaceful Breakfast was plentiful and filling, with all of us well catered for including a toddler and vegetarian. Fabulous dinner and breakfast included and catered (with advance notice) to vegetarians. Staff were amazing. Location was a bit out of the main shopping area but only a short walk away. Quiet and peaceful outlook.

Super spacious by Japanese standards. Rooms were clean and really pleasant to stay at. Close to the station yet quiet and peaceful. Would 100% recommend this place.

Quiet location. Nice staff. Roomy and peaceful ryokan. Good library with view and massage chair.

The neighborhood was really peaceful and quiet. It’s not right smack in the action of Hondori, but it’s close enough (about 7-10min walk). Self check-in/out was a breeze and communication was smooth. Host tried their best to help with all our queries. Especially love the heater (so you don’t feel cold as you dry yourself after a shower) and clothes drying function in the bathroom

Surprised by what we got, I didn't have too much expectation but it was lovely and clean, peaceful, lots of bath amenities and in a quiet area.

The location may seem far from what everyone is here, the shrine, but Miyajima is a small island and the area with shrines and temples is even smaller so everything is done very easily by foot. The place is very quiet and well equiped, the private onsen is a great addition. The staff is also very knowledgeable and of great advice on everything there is to see as well as the good tips to discover the island in a more peaceful manner than with the hoards of tourists

Great view, very quiet and peaceful place.

All the staff were very kind, the breakfast was very good, the view was wonderful, the bathroom was very big (almost as big as most of the rooms we have stayed in on our trip across Japan!). The bathroom also had a great bath and a rainfall shower head which was very luxurious after a long day of walking and hiking around Miyajima and Hiroshima. The location is very convenient near Hiroshima station and it’s only a short walk to most sights around Hiroshima.
