I chose this place, Gioia del Colle, as the hub of my trip in Puglia. Many scenic spots are within 40mins driving distances. For example: Trani, Matera, Monopoli, and Altamura. Before arriving, I barely know anything about this place. Roberto is a farmer who operates a big farm with grapes, almond and olive trees. In the day I arrived, he showed me his farm and taught me how to prune grape trees which I really want to know because I also have two in my yard. He also produces wine, almond and Olive oil with good quality. In the end I bought some as souvenir. During my stay, he was very helpful to tell me where I should visit. He also booked a trip in local Mozzarella cheese factory for me and that is a great experience. The lovely cats and dog were waiting for me everyday in front of my door. They are so cute and I bought some canned food for them. 😆 It is hard to express my feeling just with hundreds of words. Just come and experience it yourself. 🙂
