Located 2.6 km from Spiaggia La Marossa, 17 km from Castello San Giorgio and 17 km from Technical Naval Museum, IL CASALE DEL MAGRA offers accommodation set in Ameglia. The location was gorgeous with a view of the mountains and particularly the marble mountain of Carrara. It was 5 minutes from a lovely beach. The hotel made a reservation for us at one of the beaches including a bed and umbrella and parking which was very reasonable. We had a continental breakfast In their beautiful garden. We went to the other side, Lerici and the towns around the Bay of Poets which was only a few minutes drive. Plus the hotel is close to one of my favorite towns, Sarzana, which has a great market every Thursday.

Featuring free bikes, garden and views of garden, B&b Il Tulipano is set in Polverara, 11 km from Castello San Giorgio. This country house offers free private parking and a shared kitchen. The apartment is perfect; really nice ”old” atmosphere but modern equipment. Super beautiful! The location is perfect - in the middle of nature but just 15 minutes car drive to La Spezia. Our favorite was the breakfast; so delicious and fresh! Mariette is a lovely host and make our stay really comfortable.

Set on a hill top in Castè, Corte Paganini Casa Vacanze enjoys panoramic views over the surrounding mountains of Liguria. Francesca and her husband were amazing, very friendly, great communication and a lot of tips for things to do and see. Nice apartment in a picturesque location (medieval village), with a short drive from La Spezia and access to Cinque Terre.

Featuring free Wi-Fi throughout and a garden equipped with BBQ facilities, Terre di Garlenda is located in Garlenda. Guests can enjoy a typical Italian sweet breakfast in the comfort of their rooms. Incredible setting in tthe Ligurian hills, minutes from Garlenda. Well-kept property with sunset views. Garlenda itself was delightful.

Offering BBQ facilities and an outdoor pool, Borgata Cantone offers rustic-style accommodation. Located in a peaceful green area in Garlenda, it has views over the surrounding hills. Breakfast was exceptional; our host prepared fresh organic egg omelets for us each morning and there was always fresh pastries (homemade pies, tarts, breads). The design and architecture is very well thought out - it has an authentic Italian villa feel but with modern facilities like the bathrooms, spa and pool. Perfect and safe place to vacation with young children. Best part though was the host - we travel a lot and have stayed in many different types of accommodations around the world - Emanuel was incredible. I would come back here in a heart beat.

An 18th-century stone house with swimming pool, Il Nido nella Bionda features rustic rooms with wood-beamed ceilings and some with stone walls. Fantastic stay again in a lovely old home. Great little pool and a great host in Marco. Breakfast has a good selection and it's lovely to be able to eat it outside. The location is great, 3 minute walk into the village where you'll find lots of restaurants for a village of its size.

Just 2 km outside Levanto in the Cinque Terre region, this charming country estate dates back to the 1700s. Guests enjoy a swimming pool, hot tub, free parking and a free transfer to Levanto. Great place in a wonderful location, with a beautiful view all around. Perfect place from which to visit Cinque Terre The staff took care of all our needs, and made our stay very enjoyable. Excellent breakfast

Surrounded by olive groves, Natta Di Monte Tabor is a charming farmhouse with an outdoor swimming pool and beautiful views across the Italian Riviera. Miriam is a wonderful host, breakfast was accompanied with different self made jam and cake and she helped us plan our trips and activities in the are. The Family room we had is large enough for up to 4 adults and infrastructure is perfect. The room is clean and the property well taken care off. although the weather wasn’t very warm we stayed outside and enjoyed the place with the beautiful view on the village and surroundings. We’ll definitely will come back with our kids.
