Il Casale del Generale, a property with a garden, is located in Agerola, 19 km from Amalfi Harbour, 22 km from San Gennaro Church, as well as 24 km from Maiori Harbour. We loved everything about this place, away from the touristy coastal towns.I'd definitely recommend staying here instead of somewhere in Amalfi or Positano. The room was perfect, and breakfast was an absolute treat!Thank you Valèria for your recommendations and for making our time in San Lazzaro so special.

Set along the Amalfi Coast, Villa Santa Maria offers a free private seaside deck equipped with sun loungers and deck chairs, terraced gardens and spacious rooms with spectacular sea views. The staff at Villa Santa Maria was INCREDIBLE! Francesca helped us with so many bookings, from water taxis, renting mopeds, to dinner reservations, which were all amazing. Eduardo brought all of our bags up and down the many many stairs and did it with a smile. The views from the hotel were amazing and other amenities were a bonus like amazing breakfast, access to a private beach with small pier for water taxis, hot tub, etc. This place is close enough to Amalfi city center and restaurants to get there easily but far enough away to feel like a private oasis. Would absolutely stay here again!

Offering a garden and mountain view, Cantina del Casale is situated in Tramonti, 10 km from Maiori Harbour and 15 km from Amalfi Cathedral. Ana and Erasmo were THE BEST HOSTS. They were so welcoming, greeting us with home made limoncello and “concerto” (first time for that one :)) Our room had a stunning balcony with an amazing view. If we come back to the area, we’re definitely staying in with them again. PS: They offered us a home made dinner, and it was an incredibly delicious three course meal :). Thank you guys for making our stay so wonderful
