Set within 700 metres of Marari Beach and 1.6 km of Kattoor Beach, Marari Beach Bungalow Resort Alleppey features rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Alleppey. This was by far the best place we stayed at in Kerala! The entire staff was very kind and welcoming, and it is visible how well they work as a team. The service was excellent, the rooms are spacious, sparkling clean and high quality finishes and furniture, and the entire building is designed with the best taste for architecture and interior design. Congratulations and hats off to the owners! Besides the accommodation, the landscape of the garden is inviting and relaxing, having kept the original trees layout and hence the nests of all kinds of birds that enchant you with their symphony before the sunrise. We had access to the pool in the evening after our arrival and it was very relaxing. There were also some fireflies flying over our heads while swimming. Food was extraordinary! Such unusual flavours we could have never imagined...We had kingfish with curry & lemon rice & aloo gobi masala - simply delicious. We had the privilege to meet the cook herself :) We had great conversations with Joseph, the hotel manager - a kind-hearted person, and also with Ramesh, part of the staff, who was very kind to explain to us different aspects of the Indian culture. Sounds like a fairytale but it actually happened and we will definitely come back here if we get the chance!

George was easy to communicate with prior to arrival. He helped book a Periyar rafting trip since the website wouldn't take my US credit card. My room was huge with a big balcony attached. There was a nice size wardrobe. The bed was large and comfortable. The a/c worked well and there was a ceiling fan also. The bathroom had a glassed walk in shower with plenty of hot water and good pressure. The breakfast and dinner meals were outstanding. George took the guests on a tour of the Plantation, pointing out the different spice, fruit, and coffee trees/plants. He is in the process of building two new rooms and one will have it's own plunge pool. People may never leave the room.

Set in Munnar in the Kerala Region, 8 km from Mattupetty Dam, Windermere Estate features a barbecue and views of the mountain. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant. Still a classic in Munnar. Comfortable cottages, a lovely view, good food. Nothing has changed in 15 years and probably more - and hopefully nothing will!

The interior of the hotel, the rooms, the view you have from each and every point on the hills with tea bushes are incredible and charming. However, the best in this hotel are people. Manager Binoy is great host who truly takes care of his guest making sure we had the best possible experience of Wayanad and of our staying at the hotel. His team is dedicated and was careful and attentive to every our need, they were so kind and welcoming. And the last but not the least is the chief of the hotel who made absolutely unforgettable dinners, it was so delicious. We’ve spent 7 days there and enjoyed each and every moment.

Spice Forest Plantation Homestay, Thekkady features mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking, set in Vandiperiyār. I was thoroughly impressed by the stay experience. The views from the hotel, overlooking the lush spice plantation, were breathtaking and truly one-of-a-kind. Waking up to the serene landscape each morning added so much peace to my stay. The hospitality was equally remarkable. The staff were welcoming, attentive, and went out of their way to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable visit.
