This a beautiful homestay (with the option of zip up tents for accommodation if you prefer) with exceptional staff and perfect hosts. I would go back tomorrow and stay for several nights if I could. Not only were we made welcome and diligently cared for, but our host Vishal was most congenial and brought the guests (several of whom were return visitors) together effortlessly so we all had a wonderful time over meals. I brought home several packs of coffee and spices grown on the property and am enjoying them already.

Sardar Bahadur's Heritage Bungalow Estate Stay has garden views, free WiFi and free private parking, set in Napoklu, 21 km from Raja Seat. Our stay was like home away from home. The way Meena Karippa treated us, it cannot describe in a word. Such lovely host we ever met in our life. The surrounding was like a poetry and the food was heavenly.

Excellent Staff, Very Good Food, nice environment to chill and relax, if you are looking for some place to just chill and relax with your friends and family this is one of the best place to go. Had a great time here, looking forward to visit this Place once a year for relaxation.

Located in Hassan, Hirvate Estate / Crawford House provides air-conditioned accommodation with a balcony and free WiFi. With lake views, this accommodation offers a patio. Very private self contained cabanas w its own veranda and porch. The owner gave us a historical tour of the house and history of his family, w links to Ghandi and the general who helped gain Independence for India. In the morning we walked the plantation and learned how coffee was grown seed to table. We were presented w additional gifts of their best coffee to take home. Our pictures of the property and us posing was worthy of the Gram.

Subhay the caretaker Faizal the chef Udaya the nature walker Taj Service. Pleased although i went with doubts after reading reviews on Taneerhulla Cottage. With slight upgrades, its lovely.

If you are looking for a perfect Coorg vacation home-stay look no further- and here is why. I stayed here for three perfect nights. First, the property is in Coorg's mystical forest-like plantation guest building on a stunning hillside. Mine was the third-level corner room with picture windows opening into the forest treeline view on two sides. It also had a surrounding balcony wrapping the room that hung over the plantation tree lines. You get the feel of living amidst a tree house in a forest. At nights- I closed only the balcony screen door- and slept amidst the buzzing sounds of the night forest from a comfy bed. More amazing was the impeccable service and hospitality of manager/owner Mr. Ginasuddin, his team, and his staff. Mr. Ginasuddin is very helpful person. I am traveling to India for a few weeks. Once I contracted the property and ask for what to do and how. He offered help. It started from pickup to drop-off from Bangalore right after my Friday afternoon meeting from DSI for the three-day getaway. Mr. Rasheed drove me around all the Coorg sites non-stop. For the Naghorhole Tiger Camp visit, he came and picked me up at 4:30 a.m. and drove me through the forests for a 7:30 a.m. tiger safari. He is a master driver with deep knowledge of the area and attractions- and, more importantly, the mountain roads that has blind sharp turns in every few hundred meters. The property served a fresh buffet breakfast. Dinners were made to order from the menu. All are reasonably priced. One day, I picked up irresistible local fern vegetables (see picture) from a local village seller. The cook prepared it to perfection for dinner. This is a remarkable home-stay by all counts.
