Situated in Newtown, 5 minutes’ drive from Ballyvaughan and Galway Bay, The Waters Country House boasts over 40 acres of farmland at the foot of the Burren Hills. Hard to know where to start - extremely well thought through accommodation from the hosts Wolfgang and Maria. The countryside location meant it was super peaceful and there were a number of area to chill with the great honesty bar facilities. Breakfast was the best we had on the tour. Still don’t think I am capturing the uniqueness of this place - it is way above anything else we stayed in that sea to get similar scores on sites like booking.com. if we were doing this trip again we would make this a base for a few days.

This country house hotel has a quiet location, looking out over the Cliffs of Moher, the Aran Islands and Galway Bay. It has free parking, luxury rooms and an award-winning restaurant. The food was excellent. Staff was amazing. We were travelling with a 1 year old and it worked out perfectly for us.

Featuring 3-star accommodation, Doolinsunset is situated in Doolin, 11 km from Cliffs of Moher and 2.2 km from Doolin Cave. This country house features free private parking and a 24-hour front desk. The host is very friendly and kind. The room is clean and the bed is comfy. They also give us info on what is special and where we should go around the area. We love the view from the lodge .. such a wonderful and breathtaking view !!

Built in the Georgian period in 1736, Aran View Country House stands on a hill on the coast road and commands one of the finest views of the wild Clare coastline. My room was lovely and as was the rest of the hotel. Breakfast had a good range and came very quickly. But I was most impressed by the people that worked there, they were all so kind and helpful and really made my trip. Incredibly friendly and welcoming people. Location was great too, lovely walks into town and to the cliffs, as well as an option to take the bus (timetable online).

Country House 20 minutes to Galway City, a property with a garden, is set in Kilcolgan, 21 km from Galway Railway Station, 22 km from St. everything was perfect and very nice area
