We stayed at Killyliss Country House overnight in September as part of a visit to the area to do a little work on my family tree. Pauline the owner is incredibly friendly and had helpful suggestions about how to search out information about my ancestors from the area. Our room was great, it was quiet, comfortable and had everything we needed. Pauline suggested Kieran’s in Ballybay for dinner and that was great too (seriously large portions !). Thank you Pauline for a great stay
Very quiet location on the countryside, very large and up-to-date room with ensuite bathroom, very comfy beds, Full freshly cooked Irish breakfast included. Large parking.
We had a wonderful stay in this Guesthouse. The location in the countryside is lovely and peaceful. The staff were very welcoming and friendly throughout our stay and nothing was too much trouble. The restaurant had a really good atmosphere and both dinner and breakfast were delicious and the service was fantastic. I would definitely recommend a stay here, and would love to return in the future.
