The location is beautiful- the air is so clean, the views and surrounding countryside are lovely, and it is truly quiet. It's a short walk to Macreddin Village for food, and makes accessing south/central Wicklow really easy. The price was good for such a big room. Not all places do reductions for singles and some places are hugely overpriced.
Lovely countryside setting. Peaceful and quiet. The house was fantastic and has maintained its period atmosphere.
The place was peaceful and quiet. I travelled with my sister and we were both very happy with the stay. There was coffee, kettle, WiFi, heating, and fridge available. The communication with the owner was prompt. Overall I would recommend this place.
The location was beautiful. Very placid. If you want a peaceful quiet stay away, this is the place to go. Hotel itself is clean and modern. Staff couldn't be more friendly and the food was excellent. So much to see around. Beautiful lakes on site and Russborough house is only few mile up the road and we shot across to powerscourt gardens and waterfall , about 30 mile over the mountain which was fantastic.
I loved my stay here. I’ve stayed twice before and love coming back. It’s so peaceful, quiet, relaxing. The sauna and pool are lovely. Surroundings are lovely with alpacas in the farm and random deer popping out to say hello! The ladies at the front desk are so friendly. You can add on yoga too which I did before with Roisin who was amazing! I look forward to my next stay!
The Clone Country House is situated in a rural area, very quiet and lovely decorated. Our room looked different to those on the pictures but still lovely. We had a tiny bathroom but it was just what we needed. The breakfast in the morning was stunning!! Delicious and enough to keep one full for a day of hiking! The host also provided us with a phone charger because we forgot ours at home!
