Very quiet peaceful location. James is a lovely host. Nice fresh breakfasts. Comfortable bed.

It was one of the best stays I've had, in and out of Ireland. On top of the amazingly beautiful mansion, with its perfect decoration to make us feel at home, the wonderful food, and the luxurious rooms, Hannah is a great host. I've felt welcome from entering the building. Even when we were a few hours early for check-in, we got some tea to enjoy in the library room. It all was just lovely and so greatly enjoyable. I'll try to return in the future!

The location is in a lovely quiet setting in the countryside, yet less than 10 mins from Portarlington. Ivan was very helpful and dropped us back to our function in the town. Breakfast was great with a good selection of food to chose from. Overall we had a very pleasant stay.

Lovely and quiet spot in the countryside, but still nice and close to the town. Plenty of provisions in the dining room and we really appreciated no set times for breakfast. Hosts were very friendly and welcoming.

This is a lovely house, beautifully finished with great attention to detail. The venue lends itself well to a quiet and peaceful break away from everything. James is a courteous, warm and welcoming host. He went the extra mile to making our stay pleasant, even coming up with excellent suggestions for local restaurants etc.

If you are looking for the perfect, quiet hideaway in the countryside, this chalet is just what you need. Clean, comfortable and very very peaceful. Plenty to do and see in the area and lovely to come back to at the end of a busy day of sightseeing.,
