The grounds were beautiful and well maintained. The view was beautiful. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The food was amazing. Everything is locally sourced, foraged and/or hunted. I enjoyed the smoked trout for dinner and it was one of the best meals I have had. Their breakfast was an excellent spread. Great way to fuel up before hitting Plitvice National Park.

Big windows with no one around us allowed to feel the nature even inside the house. The sunsets and sunrises were amazing. It was extremely clean, with many amenities and we managed to have some rest from our urban living surroundings. The attention to details was amazing, we had everything we needed to have an amazing weekend without leaving the premise. We made a BBQ, bonfire, enjoyed the jacuzzi, watched movies...it was just perfect!

A quiet, charming place with a very nice host. Upon arrival we were greeted by the owner - Novela. Check in was fast and comfortable. The small house had everything we needed for a two night stay. The location is a big bonus, not only do you get to stay in a place surrounded by lush greenery and beautiful mountain views, you also get to be very close to Plitvice lakes National park (15min ride away), so that you can start your exploration of the park very early when it's less crowded (for less crowds we strongly recommend to start from park entrance Nr 2). I just wish we have had time to spend one more day at the house just for relaxing and enjoying the silence and views. A superb value for money.
