The location was perfect; the service was excellent, everyone was so kind and welcoming, and the facilities were incredible - particularly loved the bookable private pool and the breakfast.

Offering a garden and garden view, Scalarea Estate Residences is set in Skalánion, 4.8 km from The Palace of Knossos and 10 km from Venetian Walls. The place was immaculate. Clean and stunningly beautiful. There are only 3 cottages but I think that night, my husband and I were the only guests. We loved the peaceful setting and appreciated all the details that the owner put into it. Breakfast was delicious! This was our favorite place in Crete. We would highly recommend a stop there on your way to nearby Knossos palace or Heraklion.

Set 10 km from The Palace of Knossos, Country house in nature offers accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. Amazing place where you can rest out of city traffic and crowds. Fantastic garden with few nice spots to seat and eat outside. We aboslutely loved the stay there and all the vibe of the house.

Featuring a patio with sea views, a garden and barbecue facilities, Magedico 150m from the beach can be found in Kissamos, close to Telonio Beach and 1.1 km from Mavros Molos Beach. A perfect, new, modern beach house, spotlessly clean and decorated with style and equipped with all the amenities you may need. The owners are amazing and made sure the guests have everything in order to be comfortable including the great mattresses and pillows, comfortable couch, big TV, two beautiful bathrooms, the car park door with remote control etc that made our accommodation even better. The house had great privacy and it was located in a really calm location but at the same time its just a walk away from everything like supermarket, taverns, the beach…We would love to come back and we definitely recommend it!

Set in Adelianos Kampos and only 700 metres from Beach Adelianos Kampos, Casa de Campo offers accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. This was an incredible stay. We had 2 people meet us at the start to go through everything, this was really helpful. We had messages to make sure we got their ok and really easy and quick communication throughout. We had a bunch of recommended restaurants and places to visit which was really helpful in the first couple of days to find our feet. The stay itself was everything we needed, 2 comfy rooms with great aircon, great bathrooms upstairs and down, big open space downstairs. They had thought of everything, they had washing up tabs, coffee, drinks in the fridge, dishwasher tabs and best of all a toastie machine which we had every single day. The best part was the Host leaving fresh bread and treats every morning as they own a local bakery (stunning). This was honestly the nicest gesture, we have two little girls and they loved running down and collecting the goods. The pool was cleaned daily and there was a cleaner's that came half way through the holiday. So really well looked after and clean all the time. The location was perfect. short drive to the town (which is amazing) and a shorter drive to the beach, which we rarely visited as the pool was perfect. We had so much privacy when in the pool as there was just a small farm in front and a couple of houses behind but there view was blocked with planting. I hope I haven't missed anything off, I can't rave more about our stay here. We are a family of 4 with 2 toddlers and it was more than ideal. Thankyou so much for being great host's, we have made so many beautiful memories.

Boasting mountain views, Ek Ornelakis, Luxury Country House with Jacuzzi features accommodation with a garden and a balcony, around 7.2 km from Platanias Square. Beautiful home with a gorgeous view of the mountains, avocado trees and lemon trees. The home is in a remote location and very private, with a wonderful hot tub to enjoy that has Bluetooth. The host was amazing, very helpful and responsive to any inquiry or need. It was extremely easy to check in and find the house with Google coordinates provided. The beds are very comfortable, the house is super clean. We stayed with two kids here and they loved it. It has a bbq, a washer, a drying rack, and everything in between. Highly recommend for a beautiful getaway, in a private modern home.
