Situated in Beddgelert and with Snowdon reachable within 16 km, Sygun Fawr Country House features a shared lounge, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi and a bar. Very comfy room and fantastic food. We came here as a treat after our weekend camping in Snowdonia and couldn't have picked a better place, the calm, quiet atmosphere just a stones throw away from Beddelgert was perfect to relax and rest after many miles of hiking. Our hosts were very friendly and the dinner we enjoyed at the restaurant was simply fenomenal and well worth the money, not to mention the delicious breakfast the morning after. Highly recommend this as a comfy, quiet retreat in Snowdonia and look forward to returning in the future.

A perfect very stylish self-catering little cottage. Well equipped within very private grounds in the middle of the country side. Excellent location for daytrips and walks in North Wales. In the small village of Rowen 1 mile away there is also a very nice Pub. Highly recommended.

Featuring a garden and views of garden, Afon Rhaiadr Country House is a bed and breakfast situated in a historic building in Dolgellau, 43 km from Portmeirion. We loved everything about Afon Rhaiadr. The hosts Gina & Garath were amazing, so helpful on offering tips & hikes, etc to do in the area. The ambiance when dining was exceptional. We will definitely return when in the area again.
