Amazing place to stay, very quite and tranquil. Host was absolutely fantastic, helpful and friendly. They provide onsite laundry services for the guests too. Breakfast was great and an honesty bar - such a good idea for a remote accommodation. highly recommend.

Featuring a shared lounge and views of garden, Afon Rhaiadr Country House is a bed and breakfast situated in a historic building in Dolgellau, 43 km from Portmeirion. We loved everything about Afon Rhaiadr. The hosts Gina & Garath were amazing, so helpful on offering tips & hikes, etc to do in the area. The ambiance when dining was exceptional. We will definitely return when in the area again.

Liked the old world charm and hospitality, amazing dinner (I think that's was the best lobster I've had in awhile), breakfast with so many great choices that we ended up eating way more than we should've but it was so delicious, so no regrets.
