In stunning parkland, close to York, Aldwark Manor Estate is a Victorian manor house that mixes traditional style with modern bedrooms featuring free WiFi. The building itself had recently undergone a major renovation, so everything was new. A beautiful victorian manor, the renovations have maintained the charm of the place while providing modern amenities. Very well done. The staff were great - extremely polite and helpful, we lost our luggage en-route and the staff helped us to recover it. I think they went the extra mile. Breakfast (full English) was cooked to order and very tasty - proper bacon and sausage, also very good selection of bread, spreads etc. The dining room and bar areas very well designed, retaining the We also went for a walk around the grounds, over a bridge and down the river, about 1 hours walk - very nice, everything well maintained. Also the location was excellent - rural but only 25 mins drive to York centre.

I have never stayed anywhere quite so impressive as this. We stayed in the Moulton room which completely surpassed our expectations. The room was immaculately decorated throughout and came with complementary snacks and beverages. Access to the property was super easy and the location was perfect.
