The hotel was also awarded by AA as Scotland's Hotel Of The Year 2013/14. Very good breakfast. Location convenient close to Peebles. Also quite good views from house. Lovely walled garden to walk around.

Our host Angela was welcoming and helpful throughout and greeted us on our arrival along with her four dogs after a long drive with tea and cake.

It was a beautiful cottage in an ideal setting. Near the town but very quiet and peaceful. The cottage had everything we needed and was spotlessly clean . We were made very welcome even though we arrived with two large dogs
Beautiful rural and peaceful location with superb views of the countryside and only a short drive from Berwick. Besides our bedroom we had access to the lounge and library. Free parking also a useful facility. It was like staying in an old manor house. The owners were lovely and extremely welcoming, The full English breakfast was superb and set us up for the rest of the day. Will stay there again.
The location was good we were a 5min car ride into town for restaurants and bars. Lots of shops and historical sites. The park was perfect and well kept quiet and peaceful, perfect to just chill out.
The cottage was comfortable, well equipped and spacious. The location is quiet and peaceful, but close enough to Scottsh Borders attractions and Nurthumbria & Hadrians Wall, so there is more than enough to see and do. Lovely garden and private, off road parking for a couple of cars. The owners were helpful but not intrusive.
Honestly, what a treat of an inn. The location is breathtaking, really deep in the countryside, and so quiet. While we were having breakfast, some chickens tried to invade via the front door, so we had a good laugh. Really lovely and clean. The breakfast was nice and tasty. The staff were so helpful with a much earlier checkin.
Louise and I absolutely loved this quiet little cottage that is tucked away in the middle of a forest in the beautiful countryside of Jedburgh. Waking up to the wildlife (deer & rabbits) grazing in the garden every morning! What not to like?
An absolute gem - this place is just amazing. Furnished and equipped to 5 star hotel standard. Spotless, gleaming, luxurious, every need provided for and a hamper to feed a family with delicious goodies. Easy free parking, good views, 2 mins walk to the town and lovely views. So quiet too. Perfect!

Very peaceful and quiet location, the view from my room window was of stunning open countryside. The host and hostess were very friendly and amenable and meals were of a very good standard
