Very interesting conversations came up while eating croissants, freshly squeezed orange juice and trying the local speciality: Caramel au beurre salé. The room / bathroom and the whole house are just beautiful. An old stone house building in the countryside with hydrangeas. Very calm, but still a lot of places nearby to visit. Guy and his son gave us all the needed recommendations for the area. Dinan, Dinard, Saint-Malo and even Mont Saint-Michel are all easily reachable by car. And you can get plenty of recommendations for other, less known/popular attractions.

Nestled in a 6-hectare park only a 5-minute drive from the beach, the Château Hôtel Du Colombier dates back to the 18th century and combines historical charm with modern comforts. Everything was beautiful, very clean & thoughtfully decorated to maintain the castle’s medieval charm. The food was excellent, prepared & presented beautifully. The staff are so kind & helpful, always available with information & ideas for outings.

The Manoir des Douets Fleuris is housed in a 17th-century building in Cancale, between Saint Malo and Mont Saint Michel. A wonderful place to stay, excellently staffed, a gorgeous pool and hot tub, top-notch food in the morning, generous hosts and comfortable beds. All near Cancale which is a lovely town to visit.

Situated just a 10-minute drive from the beaches of Saint-Malo and the English Channel, this B&B is set in a 8-hectare park with a pond in a restored 16th century mansion. Beautiful location in the nature a few minutes by car from Saint-Malo. Our room was perfect, we slept very well!
