Château de Pourtalès is located in the north area of Strasbourg. It has witnessed years of European history, welcoming some of the most important musicians, philosophers and poets. It’s an exceptional location and the staff is very friendly and helpful. I had an issue with wifi the first evening but this was rapidly sorted out.

We are hiking the Hexatrek, and arrived before check in time. But we were welcomed by our hosts and had access to our charming room. Our hosts also provided an evening meal for us even though we had not pre-ordered. Breakfast was plentiful and delightful too, with home-made and locally sourced products. Plus great coffee!

Au Fief du Château has a garden, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Orschwiller. We really loved this hotel and had a very enjoyable 4 days there. Everyone was very kind and helpful. We took the breakfast and dinner, both of which were very good. It's a great base to discover that part of the Alsace and it's a good starting point for some lovely walks. We would love to visit again at some point.

This chateau dating back from the 16th century, is surrounded by a park and located 40 km southwest of Strasbourg. It offers spacious individually decorated suites and a terrace. The place was excellent in every aspect. Spacious suites, very quiet, excellent breakfast with local and home-made produce, and great location with easyJet trips to every village and town we wanted to visit.

La Maison Des Têtes is located in the historic Alsatian town of Colmar. It has spacious air-conditioned rooms, each with a TV, private bathroom and free WiFi. Nice room, with excellent beds. Right in the middle of town. Very nice restaurant and an excellent breakfast the next day. Very friendly staff.

Set in Matzenheim and only 6.7 km from Würth Museum, Château De Werde offers accommodation with river views, free WiFi and free private parking. This accomodation is a 500-year old chateau, which has been renovated yet which maintains its distinctive feel. The hosts are friendly, gracious and very helpful. The room we were in was beautiful with a renovated washroom. The breakfast was great and there are gorgeous grounds surrounding the chateau to explore. The entire experience was incredibly special and I cannot recommend it highly enough!

The village of Colroy-la-Roche, between Strasbourg and Colmar, in the heart of a landscape of preserved valleys, breathes simple and true nature. The suit was beatifull, comfortable with stylish design, the shower room is wonderfull. The spa and pools at three levels are incredible. The surrounding views are so peacefull and relaxing. The breakfast is exellent.
