Vegan breakfast was great. And the chef surprised us with his truly excellent vegan dinners. We had not expected the originality and quality we got. A lot of effort must have gone into creating and preparing those superb dishes. Also, staff really understood us: From engaging in the kind of conversation we appreciated to recommending the perfect wine. And they were very helpful in all kinds of ways. We really felt that they wanted to do and did their best for us. There were many other positives about the hotel (including its location), but the foregoing stood out.
