Nice and clean apartment in a quiet and peaceful location.
Quiet location in one of all Franconia's wine villages, close to restaurants, cafes, vineyards, wine producers and a Vinotek in the middle of the village. No large accommodation, so peaceful. We got a large room with a view of the village and vineyards. The breakfast was excellent with a large selection. The hostess was careful to offer what was requested. We got to borrow bikes for free, an extra plus for that. There was a shared fridge in a hall that you could use.
The staff were so friendly, the hostess booked us in and served us breakfast the next day. The place was very quiet and peaceful it felt like we were the only guests, though there were many for breakfast. The room was nicely decorated and felt fancy. The 'castle' has a lot of history and it was very interesting looking around all the old rooms, nice extra!
The apartment was very comfortable, spotless and perfectly equipped. We loved the peaceful surroundings and wonderful hosts Marie & Bernhard! We felt so welcome. Stockau had very convenient connections to Bayreuth by train and by car everwhere in the countryside.
Very friendly staff (also in the restaurant, despite it being super busy); excellent location close to Neuschwanstein Castle; quiet and peaceful at night and in the mornings; very comfortable beds; good service.
Very nice and spacious appartment in the peaceful & quiet place, wonderful views from the balcony. It was very clean and equipped with everything needed. Some tourist routs start from here so you can easily take a really nice walk to the woods from the appartment. Very good value for money.
- Perfect location - the hotel is located just opposite the train and bus station, making it super convenient to catch buses to explore the area. Despite its central location, it’s very peaceful and quiet. There is a lovely stream in front of the hotel and mountain view all around. - Spacious and very clean room. Our room also has a big balcony to chill. - Delicious breakfast. There is a restaurant on site too which we tried 2 times. Food is okay but it is comfortable to just have dinner at the hotel after a long day of hiking.
Location was quiet and so beautiful German countryside, but not too far away. Hostess was very helpfull and kind and her English was perfect. Room was very clean and comfortable and garden was nice bonus. Beds and bathroom were luxury.
first the location - perfect, quiet, you can go easily hiking or walk to village all is very close to the appartment, the apartment is built to a very high quality (floor heating and high quality flooring) and stylishly furnished, very high-quality kitchen utensils (I have never met such high-quality in any accommodation), a complete feeling of home. perfect apartment for people who like to stay in the countryside, who like cows and chickens. high quality bathroom. everything that was made as feel that we live in somewhere world of fantasy.
